STEP 3: Ensure the study user is trained and approved

All study users must be both Trained and Approved.

  • If an Approval process is required for the study, the study user must be manually marked as Approved.

    For more information, see Approving or rejecting users.

  • For studies that don't require approvals, new study users are automatically created and identified in Oracle InForm User Management Tool as Approved.

Note:

If an Approval process is required for a study, the Enforce UM/UA Approval Process option is set to Yes in the Trial Configurations section on the Configuration > UMT Configuation > Default configuration settings page.
