Viewing and modifying user details

You can update the information for an Oracle InForm or Oracle IRT user at any time. Whenever you update the information, Oracle InForm User Management Tool records the changes to ensure that they are auditable.

  1. Select Users from the menu bar.
  2. Select the sponsor company and trial from the Current Sponsor Company and Trial drop-down lists.
  3. In the Username column, click a user.
  4. Modify the user details.
    Note the following fields:
    • The Authorize User option (in the User Misc section) appears only for live studies, and indicates whether the SSO study is configured to allow site and sponsor users for a study to be automatically authorized after the user has an Approval status of Approved and a Training Status of Trained.
      • For a new study, if the configuration is set at the sponsor level, it will be the default for a new study. If not, when you create a new study, the configuration will not be enabled.
      • For an existing study, if you select this option, it applies only to new and existing users who are approved/trained after the option is selected. Any existing users who are already approved/trained, but are not yet authorized, will need to be manually authorized.
    • The available options for the Preferred Study Locale are based on the languages specified during the study design. In Oracle InForm, this setting is used for pages that can span multiple sites, and controls some study locale information presented outside of the CRFs, such as headings on the Time and Events Schedule page or choices in the Source Verification page filter control.
    • The Product Locale is the language—English or Japanese—of the product user interface. Menus, controls, commands, system screen labels, error messages, and so on are written in the selected language. Oracle creates product locales
