The 25.2.1 enhancements and changes listed in this document are not available to customers until they are upgraded to NetSuite for Government 25.2.1. Your access to these features and SuiteApps is subject to the terms of service in your NetSuite for Government contract.

NetSuite for Government Version 25.2.1 – Release Date February 04, 2025

Finance:
  • Transaction Performance Improvements:
    • The validation button has been added for user control of when budget validation and other system checks are completed. Users can configure transactions to require validation prior to save or allow users to mass validate transactions. This removes the dependency of the save button to include all background processing and allow users to configure to their specifications.
    • The Validation status will go back to Pending Validation when the quantity and rate fields are updated so that budget validation will run again.
  • Customer Support Enhancements:
    • The Customer and Billable fields are now available on additional forms: Standard Purchase Order, Quick Code Purchase Order, and Quick Code Vendor Bill.
    • The Item Account Override functionality has been extended to the Purchase Order and Bill Credit screens.
  • 1099: 2024 Support:
    • Removed the Billing State/Province field from the 1099-G Vendor Payment Detail report.
Various Fixes and Performance Improvements
  • Resolve issue with memo field not displaying correct memo (header vs line level memos).
  • Allow users to select multiple fields on the GL Inquiry screen rather than only a single set of Fund/Department/Account - More records may cause this screen to take longer to load.
  • The Contract screen preferred form will now be saved and not overwritten on updates.
  • An issue was corrected where the Encumbrance Creation flag was enabled on each release. The release process will now preserve the setting as defined in NS4G System Setup.
  • The Fund field has been moved from the other tab back to Classification on the AR Invoice screen.
  • The Encumbrance Balance Exceeded error message on vendor bills has been updated to account for rounding of cents on the transaction.
  • Corrected an error about the Tax Reference Number was given when copying previous line on various screens.
Human Resources and Payroll:
  • Affordable Care Act (ACA) Reporting:
    • The following field has been added to the Entity Record. Select this checkbox if this entity provides Self Insured Coverage.
      • ACA - Employer provided self-insured coverage.
    • Resolves formatting error where the Tin was missing from the 1095-C Data file.
    • The system can now automatically generate Box 16 on the Employee ACA record.
    • The system can now auto generate the ALE 1094-C base record and populate the primary information field group using the values set on the entity.
    • Users can now manually create and edit the employee's self ACA coverage for ACA reporting.
    • The system can now automatically generate Box 17 on the Employee ACA record.
    • If users are required to manually edit the ACA Data file, they can generate the corresponding checksum value and file size.
  • Employee Pay and Hour Bucket Totals:
    • A user interface was created to allow users the ability to revert recalculated history to the original calculate historical payroll values.
    • Users now have the ability to revert recalculated history to the original calculate historical payroll values.
  • Time Off Limits and Carry Over:
    • Users with appropriate permissions can now view the time-off balances for any employee or export a report of all current employees and their time-off balances.
  • State Income Tax and SOR integration
    • The California State Tax Table has been updated with the 2025 tax brackets.
  • Position Budgeting:
    • Added integration to retrieve employees from NetSuite for Government into Planning and Budgeting.
  • Mississippi Withholding State Tax Calculation:
    • Users can now calculate Mississippi Employee State Tax.
Various Fixes and Performance Improvements
  • Resolves previous issue where the Pay Bucket Report times out for large quantities of data.
