NetSuite for Government Version 25.6.1 – Release Date June 03, 2025

Finance:

  • Purchasing Change Orders:
    • Added support for workflow email attachments to be sent throughout the Purchase Change Order process.
    • Change Orders in Rejected status will now allow clients to Edit the transaction. This will allow users to update the transaction and then resubmit for approval. If the Purchase Change Order is permanently rejected, then the Cancel process should be used to liquidate the Change Order.
  • Multi Subsidiary Support:
    • The NS4G System Setup screen is now enabled for multi-entity usage. The new Entity field has been introduced and currently supports the Entity Preferences tab only. Upon installation, the Entity field should be automatically populated with the parent subsidiary and then additional subsidiaries may be added simply by toggling the drop-down.
    • The NS4G System Setup screen now allows for Entity specific Preferences. This tab is now named Entity Preference and toggling between the entities will allow for configuration of accounts by entity.
  • Utility Billing Integration:
    • Utility Billing interface will now dynamically look-up accounting period information.
    • Improved rounding operations for Utility Billing integration.
  • Vendor Compliance Documents:
    • A new custom record was created for future use to track compliance documents for vendors including support for: certificates of insurance (COI), W-9, certifications like DBE or WBE.
  • Carry forward Encumbrances at Year-End:
    • The Soft Year-End Close record is now editable to manually create a new encumbrance carry forward record, if needed.
  • Quick Codes:
    • The Check Form Expenses tab is now supported with a Quick Code form.
    • Transaction entry is now validated against the Quick Code Effective Date and End Date fields to ensure the transaction the correct time period is used for general ledger segments. This validation will happen on save to mitigate any impact on the performance of the drop-down.
  • Item Code Account Override:
    • The Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Proof Listing reports will now display the Item Account associated with the transaction to support the Item Account Override feature.

Various Fixes and Performance Improvements

  • Added the Fiscal Calendars List Permission to user roles which create purchase orders to support multiple entity calendars.
  • Corrected an issue where the GL Inquiry report created extra rows in the CSV export when the memo field was long and the characters wrapped to a second line.
  • The Available Budget field will be recalculated for every change order line which impacts the budget such as updating an existing line or adding a new line. This Available Budget amount will then be passed over to the Purchase Order to show the updated budget as of the last change.
