NetSuite for Government Reporting Version 26.6.1 – Release Date June 03, 2026
Finance:
- Major upgrade to Advanced Government Reports synchronization process. This allows the process to run more actively with better data integrity between NetSuite.
- California - Government Compensation in California (GCC):
- Adds support for the annual Government Compensation in California (GCC) report. GCC wages can differ from CalPERS, DE9 and W-2 amounts, so the report uses dedicated GCC-only pay buckets that keep GCC figures separate from existing tax and retirement reporting. Report due April 30.
- What’s New?
- GCC report with a Define Data run page — Year (required) and multi-select Entity (all selected by default) — outputting the SCO Excel template CAGovernmentCompReport<DateTimeStamp>.
- Eight California-only GCC pay buckets (below): delivered inactive, scoped to California, and auto-activated when California is selected in Payroll and HR Preferences › State Compliance.
- New state-compliance type “Benefit Pension Formula” — values entered manually (e.g. 2%@55, 2%@62, 3%@50, N/A); reporting-only, not used by CalPERS or rate calculations.
- Employee Retirement record field “Benefit Pension Formula” custrecord_ns4g_empretire_pensionform — shown only on the NS4G California PERS form after Member Category, required on that form, sourced from State Compliance (Benefit Pension Formula values).
- Position record checkbox “Elected Official” custrecord_ns4g_position_elected — after Position Type, on all forms, not required; drives the report’s Elected Position (Y) column.
- GCC pay buckets
- Pay bucket ID Pay bucket ID
- Annual Regular Pay (GCC) ns4g_gccannual_pay
- Employees’ Share Paid by Employer (GCC) ns4g_gccerretire_pay
- Overtime Pay (GCC) ns4g_gccovertime_pay
- Defined Benefit Plan: Employer’s Share (GCC) ns4g_gccerdefbene_pay
- Lump Sum Pay (GCC) ns4g_gcclumpsum_pay
- Deferred Compensation / Defined Contribution Plan (GCC) ns4g_gccdefercomp_pay
- Other Pay (GCC) ns4g_gccother_pay
- Health, Dental, Vision (GCC) ns4g_gcchealth_pay
Note:
Non-California entities need no action. After selecting California, map pay items/contributions to the buckets and complete the new fields before running. Amounts are whole dollars (no decimals/padding); blank, null or negative values report as 0; missing California PERS retirement record reports the pension formula as N/A. See the End User Guide for configuration and field-mapping detail.- Oregon PERS - IAP Pay Bucket:
- Resolved an issue with the incorrect mapping between the IAP Pay Bucket and the report.
- Arizona PERS Report:
- Resolved an issue with the employee and employer number not displaying in the report preview section appropriately.
- Florida Reemployment Report:
- The Contact First and Last Name issue in the Florida Reemployment report has been resolved.
