NetSuite for Government Reporting Version 26.7.1 – Release Date July 08, 2026
- AGR-Check Register:
- Added the column to allow users filter by bank account. If an organization uses more than one bank account, this allows users to filter by specific bank accounts.
- New Idaho Unemployment Insurance Quarterly Wage Report:
- What Changed?
- A new Idaho Unemployment report is available for producing a quarterly import wage file from Employee Payroll Totals. The report uses a dedicated Define Data page and is assigned to the state of Idaho.
- File Format:
- The download is a CSV file named Idaho SUI followed by a date-time stamp. CSV is the only download format specified for this report.
- Report inputs:
- Users select a four-digit year, a quarter from 1 through 4, and one or more entities. They also enter a 10-digit Employer Account Number and an Employer Name.
- Data source:
- The report searches Employee Payroll Totals records. It uses the new employee-payroll-totals reporting logic and the Idaho SUI Wages pay bucket (ns4g_idahosuitotal_pay), rather than legacy reporting fields.
- Selection and calculation behavior:
- The Employee Payroll Totals entity must match an entity selected on the Define Data page.
- The related Pay Period Payment Date must fall within the selected year and quarter.
- Idaho SUI Wages must be greater than zero. Null, zero, and negative values are ignored.
- Matching Idaho SUI Wages are summed across payroll-total records for the employee and reporting period.
- Duplicate Social Security numbers are ignored according to the supplied report requirement.
- File contents:
- The CSV contains employer identifiers, employee identity fields, reporting-period values, and the employee’s quarterly Idaho SUI wages. Client’s EAN is retained as a final blank field for the import layout.
- Administrator impact:
- Required data: Employees must have a valid Social Security number and required name fields. Payroll results must populate Idaho SUI Wages for reportable employees.
- User access: Reporting users need access to the Idaho Unemployment report, the selected entities, and the underlying payroll totals.
- No spreadsheet output: Training and operating procedures should direct users to the CSV download only.
- Before you Begin:
- Use a non-production environment for first-time validation. Menu names may vary by role; the steps refer to the report and field labels in the supplied specification.
- Prepare payroll and employee data:
- Confirm Idaho-reportable earnings populate Idaho SUI Wages (ns4g_idahosuitotal_pay) in Employee Payroll Totals.
- Confirm each employee has a nine-digit Social Security number and a first and last name. Middle initial is optional and may be blank.
- Review the Pay Period Payment Date on the payroll totals. The report assigns wages to the selected quarter using this date.
- Resolve duplicate Social Security numbers before reporting. The supplied requirement states that duplicate SSNs are ignored.
- Confirm the reporting user has access to every entity that must be included.
- Open the report and define the data:
- Open the state reporting area and select Idaho Unemployment. The report is assigned to Idaho.
- Enter the four-digit reporting Year.
- Select Quarter 1, 2, 3, or 4.
- Review the Entity multi-select. All entities are selected by default when the page loads; remove entities that should not be reported or add permitted entities as needed.
- Enter the 10-digit Employer Account Number. Use digits only and include any required leading zeros.
- Enter the Employer Name. This field is required but has no additional formatting rule in the supplied specification.
- Define Data field reference:
- Reporting Fields:
- Section: Reporting Period | Field: Year | Required: Yes | Entry Rule: Four digits in YYYY format.
- Section: Reporting Period | Field: Quarter | Required: Yes | Entry Rule: Select 1, 2, 3, or 4.
- Section: Reporting Information | Field: Entity | Required: Yes | Entry Rule: Multi-select; defaults to all available entities.
- Section: Reporting Information | Field: Employer Account Number | Required: Yes | Entry Rule: Exactly 10 numeric digits.
- Section: Reporting Information | Field: Employer Name | Required: Yes | Entry Rule: Free text; no additional format specified.
- Reporting Fields:
- Preview and validate the report:
- Run the report preview after completing the Define Data fields.
- Confirm the EAN and Employer Name match the values entered on the Define Data page.
- Confirm the Quarter and Year match the selected reporting period.
- Spot-check employee names and nine-digit SSNs against employee records. The middle initial may be blank.
- Reconcile Quarterly Wages to Idaho SUI Wages from Employee Payroll Totals for payment dates in the selected quarter.
- Confirm employees with null, zero, or negative Idaho SUI Wages are absent.
- Investigate missing employees for entity access, payment-date placement, wage-bucket mapping, duplicate SSNs, or non-positive wages.
WAGE CALCULATION: Quarterly Wages is the sum of Idaho SUI Wages across matching Employee Payroll Totals records. The filter is based on Pay Period Payment Date, not the date the report is run.
- Download the CSV:
- When the preview is complete, generate the report file.
- Confirm the file is a .csv file and the name begin with Idaho SUI followed by a date-time stamp.
- Do not convert or replace the report with an .xlsx download. The supplied requirement specifies CSV only.
- Open the CSV in a text-safe review process and confirm the column order is unchanged.
- Retain the generated file according to the employer’s normal quarterly filing and records procedures.
- CSV Output field reference:

Note:
This guide reflects the supplied Idaho Unemployment Insurance Report workbook. It does not add filing deadlines, portal instructions, or state rules that were not present in that source.
- File Layout:
- Report logic and exclusions:
- Inclusion and Exclusion Rules:
- Rule: Entity | Included When: Payroll Total entity is selected on Define Data | Excluded or Review Needed: Entity is not selected or the user lacks access.
- Rule: Reporting Period | Included When: Pay Period Payment Date falls in the selected year and quarter | Excluded or Review Needed: Payment Date falls outside the selected quarter.
- Rule: Idaho SUI Wages | Included When: Idaho SUI Wages is greater than zero | Excluded or Review Needed: Value is null, zero, or negative.
- Rule: Employee Identity | Included When: Required employee name and SSN data are available | Excluded or Review Needed: Duplicate SSNs are ignored; missing identity data requires correction.
- Rule: Aggregation | Included When: All matching payroll-total wage values are summed | Excluded or Review Needed: A missing bucket value or incorrect payment date can understate the total.
- Inclusion and Exclusion Rules:
- Troubleshooting:
- Employee is missing: Check selected entity, user access, Pay Period Payment Date, Idaho SUI wage bucket, positive wage value, and duplicate SSN.
- Quarterly wages are incorrect: Reconcile all Employee Payroll Totals with payment dates in the quarter and confirm each reportable pay code feeds ns4g_idahosuitotal_pay.
- EAN is rejected: Enter exactly 10 numeric digits and preserve leading zeros.
- Unexpected entity is present: Return to Define Data and remove the entity from the multi-select.
- Wrong file type: Regenerate from the Idaho Unemployment report and select the CSV output; do not use an XLSX conversion.
- Client’s EAN contains a value: The supplied output mapping requires this final field to remain blank.
- Post-release validation checklist:
- The Idaho Unemployment report displays the five Define Data fields: Year, Quarter, Entity, Employer Account Number, and Employer Name.
- All permitted entities are selected by default and users can add or remove entities.
- Employer Account Number requires exactly 10 digits.
- Only payment dates in the selected year and quarter are included; null, zero, and negative Idaho SUI wage values are excluded.
- Quarterly Wages reconciles to ns4g_idahosuitotal_pay across matching payroll totals.
