The item number and, if applicable, the SKU. The system validates this number against the Item table. The system also checks to be sure that the entered item is a component of at least one finished good. If the item is not a component, an error message similar to the following indicates:
(Item) Alphanumeric, 12 positions; required. (SKU) Alphanumeric; three 4-position fields; required if item has SKU. |
