This section contains a list of the customer-reported bugs that were fixed in this update.

Imports and Exports

Corrected an issue that prevented interactive inventory update requests to Oracle Retail Store Inventory Management (SIM) from succeeding.

Corrected an issue that prevented inventory updates from processing based on the records in the PQE_RECALCULATION_QUEUE table, which prevented the information from being passed in the inventory quantity response message.

Corrected the location import to prevent an error from occurring that caused the job to remain in running status. The error occurred if the Active flag in the import file was empty. The location is now created with the flag set to a blank space, indicating that the location is inactive, provided there are no other errors related to the location import record.

With this change, failed location import records that formerly were included only in the error file are now also listed in the Location Imports Error report with a reason of 56: Location Import Failed — Other Error. This error might indicate an issue such as one of the following, with details indicated in the generated error file:

  • A one-position flag field, such as the Active flag or the Delivery flag, is invalid (set to a character other than Y, N, or a blank space).

  • An address line exceeds 50 positions.

If a code requiring validation exceeds the specified field length, then the location is listed in the error report as failing validation for that field, for example:

  • Code 10, System record not found, can occur if the system code specified for the location exceeds 10 positions.

  • Code 55, Location type code invalid, can occur if the location type code specified exceeds 10 positions.

Note:

Turn-by-turn distance calculation is enabled for a maximum of 50 locations within the requested distance. If there are more than 50 locations, the search will fail.
