4 Deprecation Advisory

As part of the continuous delivery model for cloud services, features and technical components of a solution may be removed or replaced to enhance the security, performance, and overall quality of the cloud service. When this occurs, the deprecation of a feature or component will be announced in advance, allowing customers sufficient time to anticipate the change and transition to any enhanced replacement feature/component. After the deprecation is announced, the deprecated feature or component will remain in the solution until the planned removal date and will not be enhanced or made compatible with other new features.

Features Deprecated in this Release: Deprecation is planned for the following features in the fourth quarter of 2021.

• Work orders and finished goods: Support for Work Orders & Finished Goods will be discontinued. Importing of saleable products from the Merchandising Cloud Service through the Omni-channel Cloud Data Service (OCDS) or another third party application should be used instead.

• Pick/pack verification: Support for Pick/Pack Verification will be discontinued. Store or Warehousing application should be used instead.

• Consolidated invoice: More streamlined approaches for invoice consolidation are enabled or will be enabled in the next year, including enhancements to authorization service and Order Broker integrations.
