11 Informational Utilities

This chapter describes informational utilities. It contains the following sections:

Printing Measure Information

The administration task Measure Information is used to print measure information.

Submitting a Measure Information Task

To submit a Measure Information task, complete the following steps:

  1. From Administration > Online Admin Tools > Submit a New Admin Task > System Admin Tasks, select Measure Information and click Next.

  2. From the list of all available system administration tasks, select Measure Information and click Next.

  3. Enter a descriptive label in the Task Label text box.

    Select a log level. Then select one of the following operations:

    • Lists all the Measures. Returns a list of all measures registered in the application.

    • Print the specification of the measure. Returns the list of measure properties.

    • List the information of a measure at its base intersection. Lists the number of dimensions, logical size, populated size, and density of a measure at its base intersection.

  4. Click Next. You see Schedule Task, where you can choose to run the task ASAP or on a schedule.

  5. Click Next to navigate to the next page, where you verify and confirm the task information entered.

    Click Previous to make changes and click Finish to submit the task.
