REST POSTransaction Web Service

This service consumes a collection of item level transactions that occur at a point-of-sale system. If the incoming data contains an EPC value (in standard URI format), EICS will find and mark the RFID tag as out of inventory. Regardless of whether or not an EPC value is contained in the transmitted information, EICS will process the quantity of the point-of-sale transaction. If an EPC exists, then the quantity should be “1” to keep inventory in the current inventory positions and the RFID tag count accurate.
