Post-Migration Tasks

After the ArcGIS upgrade and integration setup are complete, perform the following Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Cloud Service migration activities:

• If Global IDs changed, run the File Split Template batch process, if needed.

• Run the ArcGIS ID Update batch process to update Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Cloud Service with the new Global IDs.

• Re-extract asset, location, and work location data from Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Cloud Service for validation.

• Configure ArcGIS to Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Management mappings in extendable lookups.

• Configure Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Management to ArcGIS mappings in extendable lookups.

• Configure real-time messaging for work location synchronization.

• Remove all legacy ArcGIS synchronization batch jobs from the scheduler.

• Register the new file-based inbound batch jobs.

• Register the new file-based outbound batch jobs.

• Enable ESRI ArcGIS Integration in the Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Management configuration.
