The Balance Control background processes are BCGNEW, BCASSIGN, and BCGSNAP. BCGNEW creates a new balance control group. BCASSIGN assigns a balance control group to new financial transactions. BCGSNAP inserts balance control members and checks the financial integrity of all financial transactions.
