Reviewing Comparative Results

You can use the Meter ML and VEE Dashboard to:

• Review anomaly-score distributions.

• Select an anomaly score threshold that provides a manageable number of exceptions for investigation.

• Compare ML exceptions with VEE results.

• Investigate cases where ML identifies an exception that VEE does not identify.

• Drill into individual IMDs to assess whether the selected threshold identifies meaningful issues.

You access this portal by selecting Main Menu, then Dashboards, and then Meter ML and VEE Dashboard. This portal includes the following zones:

• ML Meter Statistics Snapshots Header: used to define filters for data analysis

• ML and VEE Comparison Matrix: Compares the results of VEE rules against ML model predictions based on the current ML threshold.

• ML and User Comparison Matrix: Compares the actions users have taken on IMDs with VEE exceptions against ML model predictions based on the current ML threshold.

• VEE and User Comparison Matrix: Compares the actions users have taken on IMDs with VEE exceptions against VEE results.

• User Actions: Displays the conclusions drawn from the user's actions

• Anomaly Score Distribution: Displays the count of IMDs for a given anomaly score range
