Creating a Note from the Customer Dashboard
You can use the action menu option at the top of the Customer Dashboard to select the Create Note option, which enables you to create a new note for your customer.
When you create a note, the system opens the Create Note drawer, which you use to quickly generate a note by completing a minimal number of fields. The note is then stored in the Oracle Fusion system, and is not viewable from your customer information system.
Create a Note
To create a note from the Customer Dashboard:
- Access the Customer Dashboard for your customer or customer contact.
- Click the Action menu at the top right, and then select Create Note.
- The system opens the Create Note drawer with the following fields automatically populated:
- Billing Account
- Primary Contact
- Premise Address
- Complete the following required fields:
- Title: Specify a title for the note. Use something that can easily tell an agent what this note is about.
- Note: Enter text in this field.
- Click Save at the bottom of the drawer.
- The system returns you to the Customer Dashboard, where the newly created note now appears in the Activities list.
