Creating a Note from the Customer Dashboard

You can use the action menu option at the top of the Customer Dashboard to select the Create Note option, which enables you to create a new note for your customer.

When you create a note, the system opens the Create Note drawer, which you use to quickly generate a note by completing a minimal number of fields. The note is then stored in the Oracle Fusion system, and is not viewable from your customer information system.

Create a Note

To create a note from the Customer Dashboard:

  1. Access the Customer Dashboard for your customer or customer contact.
  2. Click the Action menu at the top right, and then select Create Note.
  3. The system opens the Create Note drawer with the following fields automatically populated:
    • Billing Account
    • Primary Contact
    • Premise Address
  4. Complete the following required fields:
    • Title: Specify a title for the note. Use something that can easily tell an agent what this note is about.
    • Note: Enter text in this field.
  5. Click Save at the bottom of the drawer.
  6. The system returns you to the Customer Dashboard, where the newly created note now appears in the Activities list.
