Work Location

Work location synchronization is performed using real-time messaging. When a work location is created in the application, an outbound message is sent to the GIS system. After the new work location feature is established in the GIS, the assigned global ID is returned and updated in the application.

Message Sender

A message sender is required for work location outbound messaging. Use the following configuration parameters. The values for HTTP Login User, HTTP Login Password, and HTTP URL 1 are integration-specific. If Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) is used, provide credentials and the endpoint for OIC; otherwise, enter the details for the relevant GIS system.

Field / Context Value
Invocation Type Real-time
Message Class RTJSONSNDR (Sender for real-time HTTP/JSON messages)
Active Yes
MSG Encoding UTF-8 message encoding
HTTP Header application/json
HTTP Method POST
HTTP Timeout 60
HTTP Transport Method SendReceive
HTTP Login User User ID for Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), or, if not using OIC, the GIS system user ID
HTTP Login Password Password for Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), or, if not using OIC, the GIS system password
HTTP URL 1 Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) endpoint URL, or, if not using OIC, the endpoint URL for the GIS system

External System

Add the Work Location Outbound Message Type (W1-WLOUTMSGT) and the defined message sender to the external system configured for the Esri ArcGIS Server.
