Setting the Project 360 Default Tab

The Project 360 tab is the default tab for the Project once a Project is selected. If this is not the result you are expecting However, administrators have the option to override this configuration and set the Main tab as the default tab for the Project. Overriding the default to be the Main tab can be configured on a system-wide basis or at the user-level. The system will check the default by first checking the User Override followed by a check of the system-wide override setting.

Perform the following steps to override the default at a system-wide level:

1. Navigate to Admin, select General, and then select Feature Configuration - Add.
2. Enter a Feature Name and Description.
3. Enter Project 360 as the Feature Type.
4. Add a new Option:
   • Set Option Type to Set Main as Default Tab in Project Portal.
   • Set Sequence to 1.
   • Set Value to Y (Yes).

Perform the following steps to override the default at a user level:

1. Navigate to the User portal page.
2. Enter the User ID.
3. Click the Characteristics tab and add a new Characteristic Type:
   • Select Set Main as Default Tab in Project Portal from the Characteristics Type drop-down.
   • Set Sequence value to 1.
   • Set Value to Y (Yes) .
