This service retrieves notification preferences for a list of accounts, service agreements, or premises for a specified notification type. This can be used when notifications are triggered by an external application and need to be sent directly to an outbound notification system, rather than initiated through this application using the Create Notification service. For example, Oracle Utilities Network Management System can use this service to retrieve the appropriate notification preferences for notifications triggered externally and route them directly to an outbound notification system.
