Preface

The Advanced Management Console (AMC) offers system administrators greater and easier control in managing Java version compatibility and security updates for desktops within their enterprise and for ISVs with Java-based applications and solutions. This guide provides steps for installing and configuring AMC and information about supported browser platforms and components.

The AMC is available to customers from My Oracle Support (MOS) and Java Advanced Management Console Downloads page.

The Advanced Management Console (AMC) is available as part of Oracle Java SE Universal Subscription or legacy Java SE Subscription terms, and requires a commercial license for use in production. For more information, see Oracle Java SE Universal Subscription.
