Oracle Analytics Standard Edition One (formerly Oracle Business Intelligence Standard Edition One)

Oracle Analytics Standard Edition One is a business intelligence offering designed for midsize enterprises or departments in larger organizations.

Oracle Analytics Standard Edition One includes the following products:

  • Oracle Database Standard Edition One or Oracle Database Standard Edition 2
  • Oracle Warehouse Builder
  • Oracle Analytics Server Enterprise Edition
  • Oracle Answers
  • Oracle Interactive Dashboards
  • Oracle Analytics Server Administrator
  • Oracle Analytics Publisher
  • Oracle WebLogic Server Standard Edition
  • Oracle Analytics Desktop

Restricted use: The installer for Oracle Analytics Standard Edition One installs all of the Oracle Analytics Server Enterprise Edition components but only those components listed above may be used as part of Oracle Analytics Standard Edition One.

Restricted use: Only one Named User Plus license to Oracle Analytics Server Administrator is included with a license to Oracle Analytics Standard Edition One. Use of the single Named User Plus license to Oracle Analytics Server Administrator is limited to installing, configuring and administering an Oracle Analytics Standard Edition One installation. Additional licenses to Oracle Analytics Server Administrator must be procured separately to enable additional administrators to manage Oracle Analytics Standard Edition One.

Restricted use: Use of Oracle WebLogic Server Standard Edition is restricted to use with Oracle Analytics Standard Edition One. Oracle WebLogic Server Standard Edition clustering is not allowed.

Restricted use: You can install Oracle Analytics Standard Edition One on a single machine with up to two sockets.

Restricted use: Oracle Analytics Standard Edition One is limited to a minimum of 5 Named User Plus licenses and a maximum of 50 Named User Plus licenses.

Restricted use: You can use Oracle Warehouse Builder to pull data from any number of data sources. However, you must use only the included Oracle Database Standard Edition One or Oracle Database Standard Edition 2 as the target database. The data sources for Oracle Analytics Server and Business Intelligence Publisher are limited to:

  • The included Oracle Database Standard Edition One or Oracle Database Standard Edition 2
  • One other database
  • Any number of flat file sources (for example, CSV, XLS)

Restricted use: Oracle Analytics Desktop is limited to non-production use.
