Open the Administration Tool

Learn how to open the Model Administration Tool .

The Model Administration Tool requires administrator privileges on the machine its installed on. Before installing or running the tool, ensure that you're logged in with administrator privileges.

Don’t use double-click to open a repository file. The resulting Model Administration Tool window isn't initialized to your Oracle instance, resulting in errors.

Do one of the following:

  • Choose Start, expand Programs, select Oracle Business Intelligence, and then select Administration.

  • Launch the Model Administration Tool from the admintool utility located in ORACLE_HOME/bi/bitools/bin.
