Oracle Analytics Server offers the same features as Oracle BI Enterprise Edition 12.2.1.4 with a few exceptions. This section outlines any features in Oracle BI Enterprise Edition 12.2.1.4 that are deprecated, desupported, disabled by default, or behave differently in Oracle Analytics Server.

  • Deprecated: Deprecated features won't be enhanced in the future but are supported for the full life of the Oracle Analytics Server. Where indicated, a deprecated feature might be desupported in a future, major update.

  • Desupported: When a feature is desupported, Oracle no longer fixes bugs related to that feature and may remove the code altogether.

  • Disabled by Default: Some features are disabled in Oracle Analytics Server and this is to notify you that the feature is deprecated and might be desupported in a future update. If you need to enable one of these features, contact Oracle Support.

Dashboard Style Selection

Desupported the Fuse, Skyros, SkyrosCloud, blafp, and FusionFX styles for dashboards.

Planned for removal in Oracle Analytics Server 2025 update.

Oracle Analytics Server supports the Redwood and Alta styles for dashboards.

Oracle recommends that you use the new styles. When removed any dashboards not migrated will default to the Redwood style with no ability to change back the the desupported style.

After removal of the the Fuse, Skyros, SkyrosCloud, blafp, and FusionFX styles for dashboards, the dashboards that aren't migrated to use the new styles, will use the Redwood style by default.
