OAM Version Shows 12.2.1.3 in the Config.xml File

The OAM version continues to show as 12.2.1.3 within the config.xml file, even after the upgrade to 12c (12.2.1.4)

The config.xml file is located in: <OAM Home>/user_projects/domains/<WLS_OAM_DOMAIN_NAME>/config/.

The content appears as follows:

<name>oam_domain</name>
 <domain-version>12.2.1.3.0</domain-version>
 <security-configuration>
   <name>oam_domain</name>
   <realm>

This is an expected behavior and there is no known functional loss due to this parameter being set to 12.2.1.3.0. However, Oracle recommends that you should not use the config.xml file to validate the success of the upgrade process. To validate the upgrade, see Doc ID 2564763.2 and follow the steps in tab 4 Configure > Post Upgrade > Validation Check Point.
