Configure a connection factory subscription sharing policy


After you create a connection factory, you can set the subscription sharing policy for a connection factory.

To configure the subscription sharing policy on a connection factory:

  1. If you have not already done so, in the Change Center of the Administration Console, click Lock & Edit (see Use the Change Center).
  2. In the Administration Console, navigate to the connection factory resource that you want to configure:
  3. Click the Configuration > Client tab.
  4. On the Client page, specify the Subscription Sharing Policy on this connection. Select Exclusive if all subscribers created using this connection factory do not share subscriptions with any other subscribers. Select Sharable if subscribers created using this connection factory share their subscriptions with other subscribers, regardless of whether those subscribers are created using the same connection factory or a different connection factory.

  5. Save your changes:
  6. To activate these changes, in the Change Center of the Administration Console, click Activate Changes.
    Not all changes take effect immediately—some require a restart (see Use the Change Center).
