Before you begin
      
      Note: WebLogic Server Multitenant domain partitions and
      Resource Consumption Management are deprecated in WebLogic Server
      12.2.1.4.0. The related Console and help pages will be removed in the
      next release.
      Create a Resource
  Consumption Manager
     
    
      A fair share policy allows you to allocate a share (a percentage of
      the available resource) based on a representative load for each
      partition in the domain. See Configuring Resource Consumption Management.
      To edit a fair share constraint:
     
    - If you have not already done so, in the Change Center of the Administration Console, click Lock & Edit (see Use the Change Center).
 
      - 
        In the
        Domain Structure tree, expand
        Environment, then select Resource
        Management.
      
 
      - 
        On the Summary
        of Resource Managers page, select the resource manager for which
        you want to edit a fair share constraint.
      
 
      - 
        On the
        Policies page, select the fair share constraint to edit.
      
 
      - 
        On the
        Edit Fairshare Constraint page, edit the amount
        of resource allocated as a percentage of the total available
        resource.
      
 
      - 
        Click
        Save.
      
 
    - To activate these changes, in the Change Center of the Administration Console, click Activate Changes. 
Not all changes take effect immediately—some require a restart (see Use the Change Center).
