Before you begin
If you write a custom host name verifier, the class that implements
the host name verifier must be specified in the
CLASSPATH
of WebLogic Server (when acting as an SSL
client) or a stand alone SSL client.
When you use stand alone SSL clients, a custom host name verifier must be specified on the command line using the following argument or via the API:
-Dweblogic.security.SSL.HostnameVerifier=classname
In the preceding command line argument,
classname
specifies the implementation of the
weblogic.security.SSL.HostnameVerifier
interface.
To configure a custom host name verifier:
weblogic.security.SSL.HostnameVerifier
interface in
the Custom Hostname Verifier field.
After you finish
Note: If automatic realm restart is not enabled in the default realm, you must reboot WebLogic Server to ensure that all the SSL connections exist according to the specified configuration.
