Clone virtual targets

Note: Virtual targets are deprecated in WebLogic Server 12.2.1.4.0 and will be removed in the next release.

To clone a virtual target:

If you have not already done so, in the Change Center of the Administration Console, click Lock & Edit (see Use the Change Center).
In the left pane of the Console, expand Environment and select Virtual Targets.
On the Virtual Targets page, select the check box next to the instance you want to clone and click Clone.
On the Clone a Virtual Target page, enter the name that will identify your new virtual target.
Note: Once you create a virtual target, you cannot rename it. Instead, you must delete it and create another one that uses a new name.
Click OK.
To activate these changes, in the Change Center of the Administration Console, click Activate Changes.
Not all changes take effect immediately—some require a restart (see Use the Change Center).

After you finish

If needed, update the configuration of the cloned virtual target.
