Oracle GoldenGate Deployment

This diagram of an Oracle GoldenGate deployment depicts a GoldenGate Source Database Server in a vertical rectangular box on the left-hand side of the page and a GoldenGate Target Flume Server in a narrower rectangular box on the right-hand side of the page.

Under the GoldenGate Source Database Server and the DB icon on the left, within a square inside the rectangular box, there is an Oracle 12c CDB, with a document icon underneath. An arrow connects it to the CDB$ROOT, inside a shaded rectangular box below, which is connected by two lines to two superimposed smaller boxes further down. The top box represents the orcl database and is transparent. The lower box is shaded and represents the MOVIEDEMO schema.

There is a downward arrow that goes from the MOVIEDEMO schema box through the square box in the upper portion of the larger rectangular box to the CDC Extract process, represented by two cogwheel icons. Another arrow leads to the OGG Trails below, represented by a double document icon and a third arrow to the Extract Data Pump process, represented by two cogwheel icons on the left and a hand pump on the right.

There is an arrow from the hand pump that goes out of the GoldenGate Source Database Server rectangular box to the right, then bends 90° and continues upward vertically in between the two large rectangular boxes and then bends 90° once more to the right, enters into the GoldenGate Target Flume Server rectangular box at the top, and points to the OGG Trails, represented by a double document icon.

From there, a downward arrow leads to the Replicat process, represented by two cogwheel icons. Next, an upward arrow from the Big Data Adapter below points back up to the Replicat process. The Big Data Adapter is represented by three shaded superimposed boxes. The top two are the same size and the lower one is twice as big and has a large capital B inside it.

The last arrow goes downward from the Big Data Adapter to the Flume Agent, depicted by the Apache Flume logo.
