Cause
The database is not configured to retain the transaction logs.
Action
Turn on the USEREXIT parameter, which automatically sets LOGRETAIN to RECOVERY and forces a user exit program to archive and retrieve the log files. Alternatively, you can set the LOGRETAIN parameter to RECOVERY, which retains the logs and enables them to be used for forward recovery.
