Cause

A TCP/IP error occurred. The process will retry based on the tcperrs file setting for retries.


Action

Make certain that the remote process is still running. Check for any firewalls that forbid the connection, such as blocking certain ports or processes. Make certain that the RMTHOST parameter is configured correctly. Consult your network administrator if you cannot resolve the problem, before contacting Oracle Support, to rule out any other network issues.
