1.9 Oracle GoldenGate for Big Data Targets

A license to Oracle GoldenGate for Big Data Targets only includes functionality for targets, such as, sending data into a target technology. No Source functionality has been included. Each Oracle GoldenGate for Big Data Target license includes the use of one and only one technology component. The licensees may choose from among the following technology components:

  • Apache Kafka
  • Apache Hive
  • Apache Flume
  • Amazon Kinesis
  • Amazon Redshift
  • Amazon S3
  • Azure BLOB Storage
  • Apache Cassandra
  • Azure Data Lake Storage Gen 1 & Gen 2
  • Azure Event Hub
  • Azure Synapse Analytics
  • Cloudera Hadoop (CDH)
  • Cloudera Data Platform (CDP)
  • Confluent Kafka
  • Datastax
  • Elasticsearch
  • Flat File
  • GoldenGate Data Streams
  • Google Big Query
  • Google Cloud Storage
  • Hortonworks Hadoop (HDP)
  • Java Message Service (JMS)
  • JDBC
  • MapR
  • MongoDB

Note:

In cases where the licensee needs to use Oracle GoldenGate for Big Data Targets for more than one type of technology, they will need a corresponding number of licenses. For example, as each license includes the use of one and only one of the target technologies (listed above) the licensee will need a separate license for each of the targets they use. If licensee is sending data to GoldenGate Data Streams and Azure Data Lake, then they would need two separate licenses to Oracle GoldenGate for Big Data Targets – each separate license would require an accurate count of the license metric.
