6 Uninstalling Oracle GoldenGate Monitor Agent

To uninstall the Oracle GoldenGate Monitor Agent:

1. Stop the jAgent by running the following command:

   ggsci> stop jagent

2. Delete the datastore by running the following command (you need to delete the datastore by running the command only for Oracle GoldenGate 12.2.x and earlier releases.):

   ggsci> delete datastore

   Note:

   Ensure that all the Oracle GoldenGate processes are stopped before you run the command.
3. In <OGG_HOME>/GLOBALS, change enablemonitoring to
   --enablemonitoring
   and save.
4. Delete OGG_AGENT_HOME:
   rm -rf <OGG_AGENT_HOME>
5. Remove agent.prm:
   rm <OGG_HOME>/dirprm/jagent.prm
