2.155 MAXTRANSMEM
Valid for
Extract
Description
Use MAXTRANSMEM
to control the maximum amount of memory that can be
allocated for a transaction. If a transaction exceeds the maximum memory value, then
Extract only tracks the checkpoint of the begin transaction until the commit
transaction is found. Once a commit is found, Extract returns and extracts data
starting from the begin checkpoint.
As of Oracle GoldenGate for HP NonStop release 19.1.0.0.0, the native mode extract uses 64-bit extended segments instead of the C heap for storing transaction data. Extended segments are allocated and deallocated as needed. The TNS mode extract is still limited to 110M of transmem using the C heap.
Default
TNS mode 5M
Native mode 500G
