Pre-Installation Steps

This section contains the pre-installation steps for the 8.5.7 release.

OIT 8.5.7 supports Core Net6 environment on Linux/Windows X86-64 machine. Before installing OIT 8.5.7 binaries for Core.Net6, complete the following steps to install CoreNet:

• Install .Netcore 6.0 x64 from https://dotnet.microsoft.com/en-us/download/dotnet/6.0 in both Windows and Linux platforms.
  • Download .NET 6.0 SDK (v6.0.414) - Windows x64 Installer (microsoft.com) for Windows.
  • Download .NET 6.0 SDK (v6.0.414) - Linux x64 Binaries (microsoft.com) for Linux
• Download and unzip OIT 8.5.7 SDKs.
• Run makedemo.sh/makedemo.bat command to install .Net core files in sdk/demo folder.
  • Linux: “makedemo.sh corenet”
  • Windows: “makedemo.bat corenet”
• For Linux platform, set GDFONTPATH variable to the relevant font location.
• Now you can run .Net applications (OITRedirectSample, wv_sample_exporter_cs, OITSample) from sdk/demo folder.
