You can launch the Monitoring Dashboard from the Administration Console, or you can run it separately in a web browser. The Monitoring Dashboard is always displayed in its own tab, or window, depending on the preferences you have set for your browser. You do not need to be logged in to the Administration Console to use the Monitoring Dashboard; but if you are not logged in, you are prompted for your username and password credentials.

You can launch the Monitoring Dashboard in either of the following ways:
In the Charts and Graphs area, click Monitoring Dashboard.

After you finish
Views, and the changes you make to them, are automatically persisted and in effect only for your user account and only in the current domain. They are available to you the next time you launch the Monitoring Dashboard. Note, however, that polled metric values that are displayed in built-in and custom views are not persisted after close the Monitoring Dashboard window.
