Initialize the idle bean cache and pool of an EJB 2.X


Applications can have one or more application-level caches and pools associated to the entity EJB 2.X instances it contains. To initialize the idle bean cache of an EJB 2.X:

  1. In the left pane of the Console, select Deployments.

    A table that lists all the deployments currently installed on WebLogic Server appears in the right pane.

  2. In the Deployments table, expand the name of the application that contains the EJB whose idle bean cache and pool you want to initialize.
  3. Select the desired EJB.
  4. Select Control.
  5. Select the check box next to the desired EJB.
  6. Click Initialize.
  7. Click Yes to confirm your decision.
