Beginning with 12c (12.2.1.3), Oracle WebCenter Portal has deprecated support for Jive features (announcements and discussions). If you are upgrading from a prior release, these features remain available only to support your existing portals that use announcements and discussions. Do not include these features in new portals. 

This page provides a view of the detailed replies to a given discussion forum topic. Additionally, it provides controls for replying to, watching, editing, and deleting the displayed topic. More

Element	Description
Topic: portal title and topic breadcrumbs	A series of links leading back to the Discussions Console. Click a link anywhere in the breadcrumb hierarchy to go directly to the related page. More
Reply Topic	Click to reply to a topic. More
Edit Topic	Click to edit the current topic. More
Delete Topic	(You might not see this option, unless you are the author or have the required permissions to delete.) Click to permanently remove a topic and all of its associated replies. More
Subscribe	RSS feeds must be enabled for the current portal to view the RSS Feed icon. Click to initiate a news feed subscription to the discussion topic. More Right-click the icon and select the copy-link-location command (that is, Copy Shortcut, Copy Link Location, or some other equivalent command) from your browser's context menu. Use the copied URL to configure a discussion forums news feed in your favorite RSS 2.0 reader. Note that your reader must support basic/HTTP authentication. For more information, see RSS Manager.
Watch Topic (or Remove Watch)	Click to add (or remove) the current topic to the Watched Topics list in the Sidebar. More
Show	Select from the list: Hierarchical—Topic messages are indented to show whether they are a direct reply to the topic or a reply to a particular topic message (that is, a reply to a reply). Flat—Topic messages are not indented. More
Topic and Topic Replies	The left column displays the user name of the author. Click the user name to open a context menu with options to contact the user. The right column is divided into two rows: The first row contains the topic or reply subject and the date and time it was posted. To the right is a toolbar for replying to, editing, or deleting the topic or reply. The second row contains the topic or reply. More
Links	Click to add and access links from the topic to new or existing WebCenter Portal assets. More
Send Mail	Click to initiate a mail message containing the discussion text, location, author, and date it was created. More
