Automatic File System Sharing
In the Oracle Solaris 11 release, the share
command creates permanent shares that are automatically shared during system startup. Unlike previous releases, you do not need to edit the /etc/dfs/dfstab
file to record the information about shares for subsequent reboots. This file is no longer used.
