Starting and Stopping the NFS Service

As an administrator, use the svcadm command to enable and disable the NFS service on the server.

  • To enable the NFS service on the server:

    # svcadm enable network/nfs/server

  • To disable the NFS service on the server:

    # svcadm disable network/nfs/server
