Static and Dynamic CMOS Settings

There are two types of CMOS settings: static and dynamic. Static settings are human readable and dynamic settings are numerical. The following settings are determined at runtime by the BIOS:

• The value in CMOS

• The behavior determined by that value

• The BIOS setup strings displayed
