Available Packages for Oracle Solaris 10

This section provides details on the packages included with the Hardware Management Pack. For information on the software dependencies for these packages, see Software Dependencies. The following packages are available on Intel x86 and SPARC architecture servers running Oracle Solaris 10:

  • ORCLhmp-hwmgmt - Oracle Server Hardware Management Agents.

  • ORCLhmp-libs - Libraries required by Oracle Hardware Management Pack.

  • ORCLhmp-snmp - Oracle Server Hardware SNMP plugins.

  • ORCLhmp-tools - Oracle Server CLI Tools.

  • ORCLhmp-uecm - CDC ECM USB-to-Ethernet driver. Only compatible with systems running Oracle Solaris 10 10/09 (update 8). For later versions of Oracle Solaris 10, use the CDC ECM USB driver that comes with Oracle Solaris.

  • ORCLhmp-tools-biosconfig - Oracle Server CLI Tools biosconfig. Only compatible with x86 systems using Legacy BIOS.

  • ORCLhmp-tools-ubiosconfig - Oracle Server CLI Tools ubiosconfig. Only compatible with x86 systems that have a UEFI BIOS.

  • ORCLhmp-zoningcli - Zoning CLI Tool. Only compatible with Oracle SPARC T3-1 servers that have the 16 disk backplane.

  • ELXocmcore and EMLXemlxu - Emulex Fibre Channel support and drivers.

  • SUNWfirmwareflash - Oracle Solaris Generic Firmware Flash Tool for InfiniBand Host Channel Adapters.

  • QConvergeConsoleCLI - QLogic Fibre Channel Host Bus Adapter command line interface.

  • ipmiflash - IPMIflash utility.

  • ipmitool - IPMItool utility.
