Install Oracle Hardware Management Pack on the Thumb Drive

You should have already prepared your thumb drive with a bootable Linux image.

This procedure installs Oracle Hardware Management Pack 2.4.x on the thumb drive. For additional information on Oracle Hardware Management Pack, see the documentation at: https://www.oracle.com/goto/ohmp/docs

1. Download the latest version of Hardware Management from My Oracle Support (MOS) portal:

   https://support.oracle.com/

2. Unzip the package to your thumb drive and change directory to the created folder (e.g. oracle-hmp-2.4.7.0).

3. Enter the command:

   # ./install.bin

4. Select only CLI Tools to be installed.

   Once complete, your thumb drive is ready for use.
