A Installing the Software Using the Installer (Versions Earlier Than 2.4.9.0)

Note:

Starting with Oracle Hardware Management Pack 2.4.9.0, the only installation option available is a manual installation. For information on how to manually install Oracle Hardware Management Pack, see Installing Components Manually.

This section describes how to install and uninstall Hardware Management Pack components on an Oracle server using the supplied Oracle Hardware Management Pack Installer. If you have a version of Oracle Hardware Management Pack earlier than version 2.4.9.0 and you want to upgrade to version 2.4.9.0 or later, use the Installer included with your current version to completely uninstall the application before attempting to install the newer version of Oracle Hardware Management Pack.
