Modify Default Password for root Account at First
Login
To enable first-time login and access to Oracle ILOM, a preconfigured
Administrator root account and a default password
(changeme) are provided with the system. To prevent
unauthorized access to Oracle ILOM, the default password
(changeme) that is shipped with the preconfigured
root account must be changed at first login.
Otherwise, the preconfigured root account and default
password (changeme) will act as a shared account,
enabling administrator access to any user.
Use the following web-based instructions to modify the default password
(changeme) that is shipped with the preconfigured
Administrator root account.
Note:
If you do not have access to the preconfiguredroot
account and you require access to Oracle ILOM administrator features,
contact your system administrator for a user account with administrator
privileges.

Passwords.
Note:
Assigning a strong, secure password to therootaccount is essential for preventing unauthorized access to Oracle ILOM features. A strong password should contain a combination of lowercase and uppercase characters, and at least one special character such as % or $. - The User Management (u) role is required to modify local user account passwords in Oracle ILOM.
