Description of the Illustration mobile-backend-architecture.jpg

The image shows Oracle Mobile Hub mobile backend that contains three major boxes: The Platform APIs box, Custom APIs box (storage, analytics, mobile user management, database, notifications, location, etc.) and Connectors box. Outside of the diagram there is an image of a mobile device that represents Mobile applications and another box that points to on-premises or cloud services. The flow goes from the mobile applications icon to the Mobile backend, then to the On-premises or Cloud service box. The Mobile Applications image connects to the Custom APIs box, which makes a call to the platform native APIs, then it makes a call to the connectors box. The connectors box interacts with the on-premises or cloud service box outside of the mobile backend.
