The image shows an Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) region connected to an Amazon Web Services (AWS) region.

The OCI region provides an Oracle Autonomous Database instance, a single virtual cloud network (VCN) with a single private subnet which provides a private endpoint to the Autonomous Database. A dynamic routing gateway (DRG) provides secure communication in and out of the VCN.

The AWS region provides 2 virtual private clouds (VPCs): a service provider VPC and a service consumer VPC. The service provider VPC includes a transit gateway (TGW) and a private subnet with VPC private endpoint service load balancer. The service consumer VPC includes 2 private subnets: one that includes the VPC endpoint and another that includes an elastic compute cloud (EC2) instance.

Communication between the DRG on OCI and TGW on AWS is facilitated by a Oracle Cloud Infrastructure FastConnect partner and direct connect private virtual interface (VIF).
