Use the Integration

Production users should now be able to use the OCM collaborative folders within the context of an opportunity.

The sales organizations can easily access, view, and upload documents associated with an opportunity directly from the Documents tab with all material stored within the Oracle Content Management collaborative folder. The embedded Oracle Content Management folder UI provides an easy and modern drag-n-drop interface for contributing and storing content.

The sales representative may need to work with a team to fill in an RFP or flesh out a briefing presentation. A representative can easily drag and drop the RFP questionnaire provided by the customer and the briefing presentation they started into the new opportunity folder accessible through the Documents tab.

Storing it in Oracle Content Management also allows the sales representative to collaborate easily on that content with other people in the organization who may never use Oracle Sales and Service or even share material with customers. They can easily preview their presentation and share a link to the presentation with their customer in advance of their briefing session.

They can easily add other users they need to work with to the folder. They need to add a member of Sales Engineering or a product manager who can help with the RFP process. As they are all members of the folder, they don’t need access to Oracle Sales and Service directly, they can access and help contribute to the files directly from Oracle Content Management through the web or mobile and even synchronize the folder to their desktop.
