- The region provides object storage and backups of boot volumes. These are linked to object storage in the disaster recovery region.
- The VCN provides a dynamic routing gateway (DRG) with a remote peering connection through the DRG on the VCN in the disaster recovery region. The production VCN provides two subnets.
- The management (MGMT) subnet provides bare metal and virtual machine (VM) compute instances.
- The high-performance computing (HPC) subnet provides bare metal and virtual machine instance pools
Disaster recovery region (uk-london-1):
- The region provides object storage that is linked to object storage and backups of boot volumes in the production region.
- The VCN provides a dynamic routing gateway (DRG) with a remote peering connection through the DRG on the VCN in the production region.
- The disaster recovery VCN provides a single high-performance computing (HPC) subnet that provides bare metal and virtual machine instance pools.
