This image shows two Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) regions, a Microsoft Azure cloud instance and an on-premises data center. Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) and Asserter are deployed in OCI, Ashburn region is the primary and Phoenix region is the secondary.
The on-premises data center shows an active directory.
The Azure cloud instance contains an Azure Active Directory and Identity Provider Authentication Multifactor.
The deployment in the Phoenix (Secondary) region has a single virtual cloud network (VCN) with an EBS Asserter, production environment, and Active Directory with an AD Bridge.
- VCN EBS non-production 1-4 contains 4 EBS machines. An EBS Asserter sends data from the Oracle Identity Cloud Service to EBS machines 1, 2, 3, and 4.
- VCN EBS non-production 5-7 contains 3 EBS machines. An EBS Asserter sends data from the Oracle Identity Cloud Service to EBS machines 5, 6, and 7.
- VCN EBS-Prod contains three VMs. Information flows through a gateway from EBS Prod to EBS Asserter VMs.
- VCN EBS Asserter contains 2 VMs.
- VCN Active Directory with Bridge contains 2 AD Bridge Active Directories.
Information flows from the Oracle Identity Cloud Service to the EBS Asserter that serves the EBS machines and Active Directory with Bridge in the Asbhurn region and Phoenix region, and to the Identity Provider Authentication Multifactor in the Microsoft Azure cloud.
Replication from the on-premises data center flows to the Active Directory with Bridge in the OCI Ashburn (primary) region and to the Phoenix (secondary) region. Replication from the on-premises data center flows to and from the Azure Active Directory in the Microsoft Azure cloud.
