Description of illustration audit_application_workflow.png
The image shows a flow diagram for an audit process with a "four eyes" approach where a senior auditor reviews the audit and may ask questions to the original auditor who went on site. The original auditor then has a duty to investigate the questions and come back with updated answers for the senior auditor to further review. In the diagram, the original auditor creates an audit report, and this report is sent to an audit approver for review. The audit approver reviews the report and creates a list of questions for the reporter. These questions are stored in a "shopping basket" of questions and are sent back to the original auditor. The original auditor responds to all the questions and updates the audit report. This process repeats until all questions from the audit approver are satisfied. Then, the report is approved, and sent back to the customer.
